Happy Heads, DC

This is BIG news: Happy Heads, DC's first big event will take place at the District's awesome yarn shop, Stitch DC!   Happy Heads, DC works to benefit children served by Safe Shores, the DC Children's Advocacy Center (CAC). Help a child in DC this coming winter by donating a hat, scarf, or other winter garment. Come to the event to knit with others, or just to learn. They will have crafty chatter, lots of food, giveaways throughout the afternoon and more!

The Big Kick-Off  Happy Heads/DC Children's Advocacy Center/Stitch DC event is just over two weeks away from! The festivities will include..Snacks will be available! Yum! Free hat & scarf patterns for knit and crochet! Awesome! Super hourly raffles! Cool!
 

This event is a fundraiser and you are asked to donate in order to participate in the fun.  So please bring at least one of the following items from the list provided directly from the folks who work at the CAC. You can also make a small monetary donation. CAC staffers will be on hand to give you a receipt of your items. Then, hang around with us on what will most likely be a hot summer afternoon to knit  and crochet some hats for kids for the upcoming snowy months!
