This Saturday..

We'll be headed up to St. John's Episcopal Church Holly Harvest Bazaar in Olney, MD. This is a new show for us and we are so proud to be a part of this long standing annual bazaar. Show runs from 9am to 3:30pm. There will be all the ingredients of a traditional church bazaar; like home baked goods, Christmas Trees and Holiday greens, Santa's Secret Shop for the kiddies AND a raffle!

This years raffle is for a Flat Screen TV!! That got your attention didn't it!

Psssst...the Heist is set

The DC Craft Mafia's Holiday Heist is set to go down on November 21st from noon to 6pm at The Soundry located at 316 Dominion Road, Vienna, VA 22180. The criminals (vendors) who are in on this crafty caper have been identified and have been placed in a "Line-up" for you to "eyeball". This notorious event is sure to make every craft offender thrilled by the scandalous deals and steals to make off with.
DON'T Keep it under wraps!!! Be an "informant" and spread the word to your mob, gang or band of hooligans!

Finally...A hometown show !

This Saturday, November 7th we will be sitting up our tables and showing our bags at the
St. Peter's Catholic Daughter Annual Holiday Craft Show from 8:30am to 2:30pm.





The Catholic Daughters want you to know:

This year there will be more artists and crafters than ever before. Sank Auditorium and all of the classrooms will be filled with vendors, and our specialty rooms will be loaded with goodies. Court St. Peter 1618 members look forward to seeing you and serving you at the Bakery, the Kitchen, the Produce Stand, the Jewelry Room, the Religious Articles Room, the Flea Market, and the Silent Auction. We also have an assortment of lamps, rugs and furniture on which to bid, not to mention some really nice fishing gear.

This is our only "Hometown" show this year so we hope lots of our friends come out to say "Hi" and support the Catholic Daughters of America.

My "NEW" Favorite

Okay, okay....I say that all the time but each bag I make does become my "New" favorite. I can't help myself. I love designing and making purses.

Over-sized Clutch is "IN" for Fall 2009

I am so glad the over-sized clutch is still going strong for Fall 2009.
I wasn't sure the "clutch trend" would continue this season as so often my personal favorite fashion trends seem to disappear before I can get my fill. But there were tons and tons of them in the Fall fashion shows. During Fashion week designers Chole' and Louis Vuitton accessorized their runway looks with the over-sized clutch.
Now, don't get me wrong I have nothing against the regular clutch..... but for me I find they are just not nearly big enough for me and all of my necessities. So the over-sized clutch is perfect for me and others like me who have a need to carry everything we "Might" need when we are out and about.
Here are our latest "Big" clutches.
(I must admit I may have to take the black and gold floral for myself!)


These two are just a bit smaller and can convert to a "elbow" bag because we've hidden a strap on the interior of the bag.

Saying Good-bye to friends is always hard!

We are sad to say that this Saturday, October 10th, will be the final market for season for The Ballston Arts & Crafts Market. We have been proud to be a part of The Ballston Market for the past couple of years and hope to be back next season. Vendors are greeted at early morning set-up with big smiles and friendly "Hello's" from Jessica, the market manager and her staff of volunteers. Her warmth and friendliness becomes contagious and feeds over to everyone else at the market...vendors and customers alike. Thus, making The Ballston Market the wonderful event that is it.

In honor of our final market of this season we are goin' out in style and debuting several new bags.
